This page explains how information is handled when you use my portfolio.
Contacting me
The contact form sends your name, email address, optional company, enquiry type and message through FormSubmit to my Gmail inbox. I use these details to respond to your enquiry. FormSubmit retains submissions for 30 days and uses a spam check, which may involve Google reCAPTCHA. The portfolio itself does not keep a database of enquiries.
For details of the form provider’s processing, see FormSubmit’s privacy policy. Enquiry emails remain in my inbox while needed to respond and manage our correspondence. You can email me to request access, correction or deletion of information you have shared.
Optional analytics cookies
I use Google Analytics 4 only when you choose “Accept analytics”. It helps me understand visits, popular pages, CV views and downloads, and contact actions. Rejecting analytics does not affect your ability to use this website or contact me.
With consent, Google processes information such as page visits, referring websites, device and browser information, approximate location and interactions. I do not send your contact-form answers, name, email address or phone number to Analytics. Advertising personalisation and Google signals are disabled.
Detailed user and event data is retained in Analytics for two months, without resetting that period on new activity. Aggregated reports may remain available for longer.
The _ga and _ga_* cookies recognise a browser and help measure visits. They expire after a maximum of 180 days in this setup. Your accepted or rejected preference is stored in your browser for 180 days. A temporary session marker can connect a contact-form submission to its return page; this is only used with analytics consent, and a return does not prove that an email was delivered.
Use Cookie settings in the footer to change your choice or withdraw consent at any time. Rejecting analytics stops collection and clears Analytics cookies on this domain. It does not remove data already processed by Google. Clearing browser storage or using another browser means you will be asked again.
Google may process information outside Ireland. See Google’s privacy policy and how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Contact me with questions or requests about your data; you can also contact the Irish Data Protection Commission.
Project media and external links
Project images and the CV PDF are hosted with this site. Videos open through links to YouTube. LinkedIn and other external services have their own privacy settings.
Website hosting
This website is hosted with OpenAI Sites and is publicly available at eamonslevin.com. Hosting infrastructure is managed by that service.
