AI search optimisation for small businesses in Meath and across Ireland. I review how your website explains your business, improve agreed content and technical details, and check how your business appears in relevant AI answers.
People can use AI search to compare services, ask practical questions and find businesses to contact. A useful website explains what you offer, where you work and what supports your claims. This service brings those details together, helping potential customers understand your business and giving search systems clearer information to work with.
A project that fits.
Start with a focused review or a defined set of website improvements. I take on selected freelance projects alongside my full-time marketing role. We agree the pages, questions, platforms, access and deliverables before quoting. Any ongoing reviews or external outreach are scoped separately.
What we can work on
AI visibility review
Check an agreed set of questions customers might ask about your services and business. Record the platform, date, answer, mentions and linked sources, including competitors where relevant. Distinguish an absent mention from a test that could not be completed.
Clearer service content
Improve service descriptions, headings and practical answers using your actual experience. Explain who the service suits, what is included, where you work and how someone takes the next step. Use existing pages where they already fit the question.
Technical access & structure
Review indexing, crawler access, internal links and whether important information is available as readable page content. Check relevant structured data against what visitors can see. Implement agreed fixes where your platform and access allow.
Evidence & business details
Bring genuine project examples, qualifications and approved customer feedback into the right pages. Check for conflicting service or business details on your site and relevant public profiles. Identify corrections you or your existing provider can make.
Putting it into practice
Start with the questions that matter.
A review should relate to decisions your customers make. These are examples of questions we might investigate, not promised search placements.
“Who can help with this?”
Review whether your service and actual coverage are easy to identify. A useful page describes the work and the customers it suits, with links to relevant evidence. It should not imply an office or capability you do not have.
“What should I know before asking?”
Explain scope, the process, what you need from the customer and what affects the quote. Answer common concerns using details from your own work, so the page helps someone decide whether to enquire.
“Why isn’t my business appearing?”
Separate discovery and access problems from content gaps or limited supporting evidence. Search and AI answers can vary by question, location and platform. One missing mention does not establish the cause.
Ryan’s Kitchens — brand, website and search foundations.
From the portfolio
The website work behind the service.
For Ryan’s Kitchens, I brought the brand, website, service and location copy, search setup and enquiry route together. The case study shows how service descriptions, project evidence and a clear enquiry route can work together. AI visibility is assessed separately.
Ideal Upholstery brought service pages, a 19-project collection and a photo-based enquiry route into one site. The case study explains how I made its services and completed work easier to explore, with clear routes to a relevant enquiry.
The quote separates the review, implementation and any later measurement. You can agree one stage or a defined combination.
A recorded starting point
A review covers the agreed pages and customer questions, with dated observations, confirmed issues and prioritised recommendations. Where access or data is missing, the report says so.
Specific website improvements
Agree the copy, links and technical changes before work begins. I can make suitable changes or prepare clear tasks for your developer. You review business facts and approve any new content that needs your expertise.
A useful follow-up
Repeat comparable checks after the agreed review period. Report mentions, citations and answer accuracy separately from identifiable referral visits and form enquiries. Where available, use search reports and consent-based analytics for context.
How we get there
01
Understand your business
Share your website, services, customer questions and the enquiries you want. Agree a manageable scope and the access needed for the review.
02
Review & improve
Check the starting point, prioritise useful changes and implement the agreed work. Verify the affected pages, links and enquiry route.
03
Check what changed
Review available evidence at the agreed point. Explain what improved on the website, what changed in observed answers and what remains uncertain.
Where I work
Based in Meath. Working further afield.
I’m based in Summerhill, Co. Meath, and available for freelance projects with businesses in Trim, Navan and across the county. I can meet clients or visit their premises by arrangement.
I also offer remote support to businesses in Dublin, Cavan, Louth, Westmeath and Kildare, and elsewhere in Ireland. We can handle the brief, design reviews and handover by call and email, so you don’t need to be nearby to work with me.
It is work to improve how your website and business information can be found, understood and used in search-generated answers. You may also see the terms AEO, meaning answer engine optimisation, and GEO, meaning generative engine optimisation. The service here focuses on a practical review, useful content and agreed website improvements.
Does this replace SEO?
No. Accessible, useful pages and accurate business information matter to both. Google describes optimising for its generative AI search features as part of SEO. AI visibility checks add a view of how answers mention, describe and link to your business; they do not replace ordinary search reporting.
Can you guarantee that ChatGPT or Google will recommend me?
No. The platforms choose the information they use, and answers can change. I can agree the review, improvements and follow-up, but cannot sell a guaranteed recommendation, citation or number of enquiries.
Can you improve my existing website?
Often, yes. Service copy, practical answers, project evidence and internal links can usually be improved within the current design. Technical work depends on the platform and access. If an issue needs a larger repair or redesign, I’ll explain that before expanding the scope.
Which AI search platforms do you check?
We agree the platforms and questions relevant to your customers. A review can include available Google AI search experiences, ChatGPT search, Microsoft Copilot or Perplexity. The report names what was actually tested and any access limits. It does not claim to cover every model, answer or location.
Do I need special AI files or hundreds of FAQ pages?
There is no universal file or markup that guarantees an AI mention. Start with clear, accessible pages and genuine answers to customer questions. I use relevant structured data where it fits the visible content and preserve your content-use preferences. New pages need a distinct purpose, not just a different version of the same keyword.
How will we measure progress?
Keep dated observations for an agreed set of questions, including whether an answer appears, mentions the business, links to it and describes it accurately. Compare those with available search data and identifiable AI referral visits. Form-success events, contact clicks and qualified enquiries are separate measures; a mention or click alone is not a new customer.
How much does it cost, and how long does it take?
The review and implementation are quoted around the site, access and agreed deliverables. Timing is agreed before starting. Search engines need time to revisit changes, and low-volume services may take longer to produce useful evidence. There is no promised ranking date or automatic monthly commitment.
