Video with
a clear purpose.

Business video production and editing from Eamon Slevin, based in Summerhill, Meath. From a company introduction to a showroom walkthrough or social content, I bring the planning, filming and edit together around your brief.

Show what makes the business worth knowing.

A useful video helps people understand what you do, see your work or hear from the people behind it. We start with the audience, where the film will appear and what you want someone to do next. Those decisions shape what we shoot and how we edit it.

A project that fits.

I take on selected freelance projects alongside my full-time marketing role. Shoot location, travel, availability, deliverables and review stages are agreed before quoting. The examples below were produced while I worked at Rooftop Twenty Two; each case study explains my role.

What we can work on

Company & service introductions

A film that introduces the business, its people and its services. Agree the message and script, plan the footage, and bring interviews or pieces to camera together with supporting visuals.

Showroom & completed-work videos

Show a finished installation, a product or a space in use. Plan wide views and useful details so the content explains the work as well as showing it.

Social & campaign content

Plan short videos around a product, seasonal event or campaign. Agree the channels and formats before the shoot, including any vertical versions, captions or alternative edits needed.

Campaign planning & delivery

Editing existing footage

If you already have footage, I can assess whether it supports the brief and quote for an edit. We review picture and sound quality, permissions, the intended length and any missing material first.

Putting it into practice

Plan the finished pieces before filming.

A clear shot list helps make good use of the time on location and avoids discovering missing footage in the edit.

Decide what the viewer needs to see

For a kitchen business, that might be the whole room, storage details and the finish of the doors. For hospitality, it may be the rooms, food, facilities and staff. Choose the scenes that answer the audience’s questions.

Prepare people & locations

Agree who will appear, what they need to say and which spaces will be ready to film. Access, permission to film customers or staff, and any restrictions should be settled before the shoot.

Match the edit to the channel

A website introduction and a short social video serve different purposes. Agree length, landscape or vertical framing, captions, music use and the final call to action before editing begins.

From the portfolio

Irish Chauffeurs: introducing the business.

Working at Rooftop Twenty Two, I scripted, planned, filmed and edited a company showcase for Irish Chauffeurs. The film introduces the business and its services alongside footage of the luxury fleet. I handled the filming independently and completed the edit and colour grading.

Watch the Irish Chauffeurs film

I planned, filmed and edited videos in the showroom and customers’ homes, covering completed kitchens and details such as doors and hinges. The content was delivered through Rooftop Twenty Two for the client’s social calendar.

JD Kitchens: showroom & home videos

Working with the account manager at Rooftop Twenty Two, I filmed and edited restaurant, staff and seasonal content, alongside food photography. The case study explains the brief and my production role.

Planning your project

A clear brief makes the quote useful.

You do not need a finished script to start. A few practical details help define the work.

Purpose & audience

Tell me what you want to promote, who should see it and where it will appear: your website, social channels or a paid campaign. Share any references and existing brand material.

Shoot & deliverables

Agree the location, people, shoot requirements and number of finished pieces. Different lengths, aspect ratios, captions and photographs are listed in the scope rather than assumed.

Reviews & usage

Agree who approves the edit, the feedback stages and delivery timing. Music and other third-party assets need suitable usage rights. Raw footage, project files and any later re-edits are discussed separately.

How we get there

  1. 01

    Brief & plan

Discuss the purpose, audience and practical requirements. Agree the quote, script or outline, shot list and schedule.

  2. 02

    Film & edit

Capture the agreed footage and build the first edit. Review pacing, sound, colour and any captions or graphics within the brief.

  3. 03

    Review & deliver

Gather the agreed feedback, complete revisions and export the approved versions for the channels planned at the start.

Where I work

Based in Meath.
Working further afield.

I’m based in Summerhill, Co. Meath, and available for freelance projects with businesses in Trim, Navan and across the county. I can meet clients or visit their premises by arrangement.

I also offer remote support to businesses in Dublin, Cavan, Louth, Westmeath and Kildare, and elsewhere in Ireland. We can handle the brief, design reviews and handover by call and email, so you don’t need to be nearby to work with me.

Discuss your brief

A few practical details

What kinds of business videos can you help with?

Company introductions, showroom walkthroughs, completed-project videos, staff pieces to camera and social content are a good starting point. My portfolio includes transport, kitchens, furniture and hospitality work. Send the idea and I’ll confirm whether the production requirements fit what I can offer.

Can you help with the idea and script?

Yes. Planning and scripting can be included in the brief. We establish the message, intended audience, scenes and any questions for people appearing on camera before filming.

Can you edit footage we have already filmed?

Yes, subject to reviewing the material. Share a description or sample of the footage, the intended use and the finished pieces you need. Image quality, sound, available coverage and usage rights affect what is possible and the quote.

Can one shoot produce several social videos?

It can, if we plan for those pieces. We agree the topics, shots, formats and number of edits before filming. I used this approach for showroom and completed-kitchen content at JD Kitchens while working with Rooftop Twenty Two.

How much does video production cost?

I quote for the brief. Planning, shoot time, travel, locations, the number of edits, captions and revisions all affect the work. The quote sets out the deliverables and any separate costs before you commit.

Do you film outside Meath?

We can discuss shoots in Dublin and nearby counties as well as Meath. Travel, access and timing are agreed for each project. Editing and reviews can be handled remotely.

Does the video service include running ads?

Producing the video and managing a paid campaign are separate pieces of work. If both are needed, we can discuss the campaign setup, media budget, approvals and reporting as an additional scope. Video views alone are not evidence of sales or enquiries.
