The brief

Ryan’s Kitchens wanted a fresh identity and a website that reflected the quality of its work. The business needed to explain its range clearly, help customers plan a project and make it straightforward to get in touch. The finished site also brings its specialist Robeslide sliding-wardrobe offering into the same customer journey.

My approach

I built the identity and website around a family business making kitchens since 1986. A restrained wordmark, warm neutrals and editorial typography give it a considered feel, while plain-language copy keeps the offer approachable. The structure follows the questions a customer would ask: what can you make, what could it look like, how does it work and who do I speak to?

What I worked on

I took the project from identity development through page planning, writing, design, development and launch on ryankitchens.ie. The work extended beyond the main pages to project stories, a supplier brochure library, service-specific enquiries and reporting. I also handled the domain and hosting connection and checked the live site after publishing.

The scope

One project, from identity to launch.

An identity carried through every page

The homepage introduces the people and craft behind the business, then helps visitors choose between kitchens, fitted wardrobes and media walls. Each service has space for useful detail, FAQs and next steps. I carried the same design system through navigation, forms and smaller interactions so the site feels like one business on mobile and desktop.

Bringing Robeslide into the picture

I gave Robeslide a distinct place within Ryan Kitchens, with its own introduction, sliding-wardrobe guidance, gallery and enquiry section. I reviewed the older image archive and selected useful examples, clearly labelled as archive imagery. Links between the general wardrobe pages and the specialist range help visitors find the right information without starting again on a separate website.

From inspiration to an enquiry

Dedicated kitchen and wardrobe project pages explain the details behind the work. Supplier brochures sit alongside the relevant services, and planning advice helps customers prepare for a conversation. Enquiry links carry the selected service into the form, while phone, email and WhatsApp offer other ways to contact the team. Test enquiries were received and confirmed by the client.

Search, measurement and a checked launch

I wrote service and location copy around the business’s actual offering and coverage, then set up descriptive titles, canonical URLs, structured data and a sitemap. Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools provide a way to monitor discovery and indexing. GA4 records consented contact and brochure interactions. Before and after launch, I checked responsive layouts, keyboard access, links, downloads, redirects and cookie choices.

What the project delivered

Ryan’s Kitchens now has a complete identity and a live website that brings its main services, Robeslide range, project examples and supplier resources together. Customers have a clearer route from browsing to making an enquiry, with delivery confirmed by the client. Search and enquiry reporting give the team a way to review what customers engage with and decide where to improve the site next. In his five-star Google review, Dennis Ryan praised the finished website, attention to detail and communication throughout the project.

Client feedback · 5/5 on Google

“The finished website looks fantastic, is professionally presented, and reflects our business exactly as we had hoped.”

Looking back

The most valuable part of this project was joining the creative work to the practical details. The brand sets the tone, but useful content, working enquiries and a way to measure activity are what make the website useful to the business.
